Siege : Trump under Fire
Michael Wolff was born in Paterson, New Jersey on August 27, 1953. He attended Columbia University and graduated from Vassar College in 1975. He began his career by publishing his first magazine article in the New York Times Magazine in 1974 and then moved on to become a contributing writer to the New Times, a bi-weekly news magazine. His first book, a colllection of essays entitled White Kids, was published in 1979. Michael Wolff then launched his own company, Michael Wolff and Company in 1991. It specialized in book packaging with it's first project being the book - Where We Stand, which had a companion PBS series. In 1998 Wolff was hired by New York Magazine to write a weekly column. He stayed in this position for the next 6 years and authored over 300 columns. Wolff was nominated for the National Magazine Award three times and won twice. He also won a Mirror Award in 2010 in the category of best commentary. In January 2018 Michael Wolff published Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House. It was an unflattering description of the behavior by President Donald Trump. It contained descriptions of chaotic interactions between White House senior staff.
