Introduction to the Mueller report / by Alan Dershowitz -- General powers of Special Counsel -- The appointment of Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III -- Attorney General William Barr's letter to Congress -- Attorney General William Barr's response to House Democratic leaders -- Key to redactions in the Mueller report -- The Mueller report.
Summary, etc.:
Mueller, a lifelong Republican, has concluded his investigation into President Donald Trump's possible collusion with Russia, and submitted the findings to Attorney General William Barr. The investigation has been the focal point of American politics since its inception in May 2017. Media tracked Mueller's every move, and the investigation was subject to constant speculation by political pundits. Barr has told Congress that Mueller found no proof of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, and did not come to a conclusion on obstruction of justice-- neither concluding the president committed a crime nor exonerating him. Now it is time for the public to judge if that is true. -- adapted from Publisher
